The short story It used to be green once, is about a story of a family that were poor, but then their dad got some money and they became rich. They got to buy everything that they wanted to buy when they weren't as rich and they all changed because of it. When their father and mother found out they didn't change they stayed the same but they did buy themselves some things that they did want before.

Ask, Listen, Reflect, Respect- These are the four steps to giving consent, by following this four step rule to getting consent it will be easier for you and the other person to have a equal, free agreement.

Free agreement- This agreement is one both yourself and your partner will make before you decide to do it or not.

How to say NO- You should be able to state your own opinion in your relationship so if you don’t want to do anything, learn how to say no, do not do anything that discomforts you in any way.

Respect boys and girls equally- In any type of relationship, respect should go two ways. Two ways meaning you should respect each other not more not less but equally.

Body safe was run by Cinnamon, Eliza, and other people. They came into our class every Wednesday health lesson for 4 weeks straight. In body safe we learnt about our bodies and about grown up things like s** and about keeping our bodies safe from others. It was difficult for me to listen especially when they were talking about grown up topics, it made me uncomfortable at some points as well but I had to listen anyways.

Using Google Maps

Using google maps was really hard at first but when I kept on doing my work it got easier for me, and felt normal. I think google maps is easy to use and helpful for you especially if you want to travel to heaps of different places.

English

In English class we are learning about Matariki for this week. Our class was given two options of making a boat to symbolize the boats they traveled in back then at the time Matariki was made. Or we were given the chance to make a poster about Matariki and about the seven stars. In English i chose to make a model of a boat cause it seemed easier and more fun.
